What I write is offered as a gift
Both the writing on this site and the published books are offered under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0. Some rights reserved. This means you are free to read, share, quote, adapt, and build on the work, provided you:
- Give appropriate credit (cite me and link back to the source),
- Indicate if you have made changes,
- Do not use the work for commercial purposes – please do not resell what you have received as a gift,
- Distribute any derivative work under the same licence.
The principle is the one set out in The Manifesto: my word is my gift, and the Quantum Poet gives it forward. If you are unsure whether a particular use is in keeping with the licence, write and ask.
Buying the books
The CC licence does not prevent me from selling the books, and it does not prevent you from buying them. The published volumes – Keystones in the Patterns of Place, A Boy Called Wild, and the four Quantum Poetry volumes collected in Inkblot Moon – are available in hardback, paperback, and Kindle from Amazon, Bookshop.org, Hive, Waterstones, Blackwell’s, Barnes & Noble, your local independent bookshop, or direct from Keystone Publications as signed copies. Buying a copy supports the work, but reading it as a gift is also entirely welcome.

Some pieces on this site quote from or link to works by other writers. Those works are copyrighted by their authors and used here for commentary and criticism under fair dealing.
